2Pac - I Got My Mind Made Up (O.G. Version with Rebel INS)
This is the og version with the Inspectah Deck(Rebel INS back then) in the end. In the album, his verse is cut out, I heard they said it was too long. RARE
"And even while we doing that, we try'nna get the Wu-Tang niggaz
Cuz I love them niggaz, I feel as though
They represent the east coast, how we represent the west coast
And I love them..."

its real. I think on the relased version (or at least the one that made it to the mixtapes before the album dropped) you can hear Deck coming in before the track fadesI Smell Like Un Kasa wrote:Hmm I question the authenticity of this track. Thats the exact same verse he spit for that X-Ecutioners joint "Ya'll Know The Name", and shit is just hella off-beat.

While the original version did in fact have Deck on it, the version posted is not the corrrect version, and it features a copy/paste Deck rhyme from another track, that's why it sounds offbeat.
This is the original:

They should've kept him on the track tho, he kills it.

:uload: the storyPhilaflava wrote:it's real. i posted this last year with the story behind it.
suge didn't think deck was worthy because of his lack of popularity plus felt it felt more "east coast" ish with another wu member on.
Funny i hear this,
i wanted to start a thread about songs that had shit in it out of nowhere.
example on this song at the end deck just saying shit when he has nothing to do with the song...
now i know he was originally on it!
1st mix is atrocious, 2nd one doesnt sound right either ive heard that verse before but cant remember which song
Yeah, this seems much more like the original version. Good lookstox718 wrote:While the original version did in fact have Deck on it, the version posted is not the corrrect version, and it features a copy/paste Deck rhyme from another track, that's why it sounds offbeat.

This is much better verse, and definitely fits the track almost perfectly
Redman still had the best verse
"I spit that thug shit nigga, MOTHERFUCK singing"
I dunno, I kinda like Meth on this too. Both had vicious verses.Magneto wrote:Yeah, this seems much more like the original version. Please explain how the original track has "Rebel INS" fading out then? The stories I got came directly from Deck's mouth. I mean do you really think it's rumors?fnfine wrote:I don't post often here. But I had to speak up on this. Neither of these is the original version of GMMMU. It has not leaked and truthfully that version of the song has never been confirmed to exist. The rumor is ID re-used his cut verse. Folks have been cutting and pasting this for years.

I don't know who's telling you what, but this isn't the original.Philaflava wrote:Please explain how the original track has "Rebel INS" fading out then? I asked someone with more knowledge on this. His direct quotes:
"while it is true that deck was on the og, so was rage. pac jumped on and they cut those two people. deck's adlibs were left in the lp outro. what this is is a mix that was done a few months back. deck used this same verse on a song that escapes my mind (with streetlife i believe), but it is out on vinyl with an instrumental so his vocals were genned, the beat looped, and his part re-added. this isn't the og, but more like a reconstruct of deck's verse."
"you can also add that if this was legit, why would deck's loud ass adlibs suddenly stop mid-verse where the lp version cuts off, and then they're used again in the outro (which makes no sense)."
The song is Common Denominator. You can find it on youtube.

My source is the people who have provided nearly every unreleased 2pac song since 1997. I don't see how anyone has got me on anything.
The song was originally a Dogg Pound song. It was recorded while 2pac was in jail. When he was released it was decided that it was 2pac's and he would be added and Deck and Lady of Rage would be bumped. Now the reasoning behind them being bumped is debatable. But I'm sure it had more to do with 2pac's popularity than anything else. It did appear on his album. And other songs were taken from DPG and given to 2pac.
So it's unlikely that 2pac and Deck were ever on the song at the same time. They could theoretically been mixed together at some point. But, considering how Death Row operated I doubt they wasted studio time mixing something that wouldn't be released.
