I remember grabbing the series back when megaupload was live but great find Jaz! This series is great and I've listened to each tape more than once.

Also FYI for anybody, I've found 4chan (http://rs.4chan.org/) to be a great resource for finding mediafire links that have yet to be killed. It's definitely not comprehensive and there's a lot of stuff missing, but if you're looking to dl a certain album, you might get luckier there than using google or filestube.

Great tapes tho, I had the blue one with SOP - Styles on it, a slightly different version than the vinyl. I had my eye on I think volume 3 on ebay recently, shit went for over $80.

Yeah it doesn't matter now, old news and no beef, just memories, hah.
I think the diss was more at that blog because they even took our "100 Most Obscure Cuts" thing, used exactly the same songs with the same write ups and posted as their own. They apologized though, from what i remember. There is lots of treats on that blog.

the Echo tapes are dope and worth revisiting.

Triip - Keep It Flowin' (Radio Remix) (with a slighty different mix than on the mixtape) was released on 12" and I've been after a copy for a while. The last copy on Ebay went for around $170. If anybody has a copy and can rip that would be awesome!

Someone needs to contact Mark Echo and ask for the masters, these all need to be re-released on CD and digitally...if I had a ton of dough, I would get onto it and release 12"s as well, I forgilot how fucking dope these are, I want to dig out my old Echo hoody.
