got some more coming. I take it most people have the Mary J joints with Smif N Wessun & Biggie?
I'll take those as well.

The REAL Blige gem that most people are unaware of, though is The "Sweet Thing" remix produced by Mark Sparks. You got that? Hell, if you have that whole 411 remix album, up it...

I dont have th 411 remixes. I got a 7 tracks test press/bootleg with a few remixes from the 2nd album (the Smif N Wessun, that K Murray, a Luryn Hill, the LL version of All Night Long etc).
Got another dope one coming later once I ripped it.

There was a time when I didnt mind playing R&B when i was DJing out soI've got quite a bit of this stuff on vinyl but hadnt ripped as much I thought so it might take a while.
If theres any requests I'll see if I've got it.

Mary J Blige ft Mr Cheeks - Im Goin Down _remix_.mp3 - 3.35MB over Biggie's 'The What' inst

Shai ft Jay Z - I Dont Wanna Be Alone _Marley Marl remix_.mp3 - 4.11MB over 'Nobody Beats The Biz'

this was a big mixshow tune around 95/96. Think its by Bobby J (Flip Squad):
Stephanie Mills - Something In The Way You Make Me Feel _remix_.mp3 - 5.23MB

Has anyone got the Lord Finesse 'Funkyman' remix of SWV 'Right Here' ? mine is quite crackly.

The X-Ecutioners had a dope song with some dope sounding R&B chick over one of their tracks on their first album. Doesn't follow the criteria, you still want it anyway, Thun?

SWV ft Jay Z_ Busta_ Mr Cheeks_ Smoothe _ Trigga - You_re The One _remix_.mp3 - 4.48MB over the 'Heartbeat' break. Jay's verse was originally on a seperate remix but this version sticks them together.

Donell Jones ft Xzibit_ 50 Cent_ Pharoahe Monch_ Cuban Link _ Fat Joe - U Know Whats Up _remix_.mp3 - 11.30MB This one is weird. Never seen it anywhere else other than the 'official bootleg' type 12" I've got. At first I thought someone had done a cut and paste job but it sounds like each verse was written specifically for the Donell Jones track.

I think my top choice in the "R&B with hardcore beats" category would be Joi "Sunshine & The Rain" [Dallas Austin]. I used that beat for endless freestyles, great song too. I can upload later when I get home if no one has it ripped already.....

You guys have this thread starting to smoke. Here's my contribution...

Blackberry Molasses - Mista (Cee-lo/Oranganized Noize remix) Great 1996 song from an Organized Noize R&B group that never really got off the ground. This remix with Cee-lo was only available off the maxi single...

Fantasy - Mariah Carey, Old Dirty Bastard (Bad Boy remix) On the local ATL stations (summer of 95?) ODB redid his verse (or was it the intro?) shouting out all the Atlanta neighborhoods. My first born should someone be able to materialize that unreleased "ATL remix"

Alone in This World - Jay-Z (remix) Always wanted to hear Jay spit over "Who Shot Ya?" Here's youre chance.

Are You That Somebody? - Aaliyah (remix with the Supafriends)

Be Happy - MJB, Nice n Smooth (Ron G remix) over the "Chief Rocka" beat.

Brown Sugar - D'Angelo (King Tech unreleased remix) I dont remember where these two King Tech remixes came from. They may have come off a Wake-Up Show cd or maybe some unreleased stuff culled from the intranets.

Buddy X - Notorious B.I.G., Nenah Cherry (remix) An early Biggie appearance.

Can't Believe - Faith Evan, Shyne (remix) off a faith japanese remix album

Come and Talk To Me - Jodeci (radio remix) off a mtv party to go cd. $5 for anyone that can ID the lame rapper on this one. Regardless, a nice 90's vibe remix.

Me & Those Dreamin' Eyes of Mine - D'Angelo (King Tech Unreleased remix)

Only You - Monifah, McGruff (remix) off the Bad Boy mixtape vol. 4

Only You - 112, Notorious B.I.G. (remix) damn. do I not have a CDS rip of this? off the Bad Boy mixtape vol. 4

Real Love - Notorious B.I.G. (Ron G remix) I think this one is basically the same with a nice added Ron G intro and outro

Whats the 411? - MJB, Grand Puba (remix)

So High - Toni Braxton, Foxy Brown (remix) off a Clue mixtape

Touch Me, Tease Me - Case, Foxy Brown (remix) off a Clue mixtape

Yo, for real, thank you to everyone in this thread thus far. This will definitely be an ongoing series. I already have enough for at least two very solid volumes, if not three. Keep it coming.

There was a singer name was redbone did something over the Pharcyde beat passing me by which is real nice if anyone has it maybe you can post it. I have it but its at home on vinyl and I am not close to my records. Shai also did a cut with Krs-1 that was real nice also. This is a good thread right here as keep it going.

Don't have any of my Joe CDs up here but heres the youtube for now. Both joints are fire. Joe puts out quality music. Does anyone have that Case - Personal Conversation album? I lost my copy years ago and still can't find it.

'that was 'I Thank You' I need that aswell - that was very hard to come by if I remember rightly. Think it had Latifah or someone rhyming on it.

I seem to remember a few R&B acts doing tracks over Mobb Deep instrumentals. Can't remember who they were.
