Back on track - cover and tracklisting here:

http://www.discogs.com/Large-Professor- ... se/1797214

I wonder if that Large Pro:Verbs is the same as the For My People Pt.2 joint that was on the LP Rarities complilation. Heres' hoping...

Personally I'm fiending for this release, like I fiend for nicotine, but I don't need a cigarette, know what I mean?

Little upload to wet appetites. Here's the demo version of Bullshit which has a sweet little intro. This was the first version of this track I heard back in 95? and as such is the only version I can listen to.

http://rapidshare.com/files/243645941/0 ... llshit.mp3

I see this fitting straight after the Intro on the LP, with the intro intact, God Willing...

p.s. must apologise for Roy as I don't think I ever posted this when I said I would.

i bet it's actually "sunrise" since it segues into "havin' fun" on the original version. i think "the lp" is probably "for my people" and hopefully the outro will be part 2.

illest - I have 2 shows which I'll try and get uploaded. One is K-Def & Marley. The other is Pete Rock in a Piiiirate radion session.

Memory - I think you're right, bummer.

Any word on this release? According to P-Vine's website it should have come out on the 2nd. As nobody is showing as 'have it' on Discogs I'm guessing it hasn't seen the light of day yet.

I managed to find some links to the Japanese version of some tracks on iTunes but couldn't download/preview the tracks so quality is still unconfirmed.

"Amaman" 12" should be out on 07/14, check http://www.hhv.de/item_165960.html

Album should be released early August, check http://www.hhv.de/item_167198.html

Usually these guys are on point with the release dates. Maybe plus 1 or 2 weeks, who knows...

Cheers for that link Kool Max.

I downloaded a couple of the RM previews from that site and this definitely sounds kosher. The quality of the Queens Lounge track (even though it is RM) sounds like a studio version (at last!!!!).

By the way, download the preview for Mad Scientist, this a brand new beat to my ears which sounds similar to Busta's WooHaa, and the verse is ill - at the end of the preview you can hear the familiar beat start to fade in:

Keep it rollin' on August :0)

I might be talking utter shit here and I have nothing to back this up but...

I wonder whether there was supposed to be a deliberate beat switch up for Mad Scientist, but maybe they canned this idea because Busta dropped WooHaa about the same time in 96. This would also explain why we got the same verse x 2.

or like I said, maybe I'm away with the mixer, just food thought.

:ohsh: WAT?!!
I hope this shit is on this "official" release that we're all talking about.

I reiterate- This really should be a double CD. One CD of what the album was supposed to be and one CD of the extras, demos, and outtakes.
This way, we don't miss anything.

But that won't happen and I'll be happy with whatever, as long as it's studio quality.

i ran across this on amazon.com and it was available as a DL there as it was released on july 1st on there as an mp3 DL, so i bit the bullet and copped it cause i just couldn't wait until august for a studio version of "Queens Lounge" and it was only 8.99 for the whole thing which ain't shit since i woulda paid more than 9 bucks for a cd quality version of "Queens Lounge" for the longest time.

i don't feel like upping the whole thing right now, so for now here's the high quality version of "Queens Lounge" for y'all...

Okay, so I could only find 2 of the tracks from the bootleg that aren't on this
'official' release. I even tried to fix them up a bit, the quality was awful. Not
the rippers fault. I remember I had this Bootleg vinyl and the sound did suck.
