Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember there being an extra dope track (at least I thought it was in 1994) on the cassette version of "Murder Was The Case". Something about "Hot One's".

After doing a quick Google search, I found some info from the ever reliable wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_Was_The_Case

O.F.T.B. - Hot One (cassette only bonus track)

And after another quick search, I found a low quality mp3 here:

Hi guys, what's up? If I remember correctly the original version of "The Circle" was incomplete on Rerelease. Last verse was missing...

To my knowledge Money Boss Players LP wasn't released on CD.

that's the kind of answer i was actually looking for. FULL ALBUMS... but i guess we can do bonus tracks too...

btw i've seen a cd issue for az-streetwise but I don't when it came out or if it's official. Image

i've also seen a cd issue for the mobstyle album once of ebay but it might have been a bootleg? if anyone has info on these ?re-issues?

Krown Rulers - Paper Chase (1988)
T La Rock - The Lyrical King (1987)
Hijack - The Horns Of Jericho (1991)

Although it says on discogs that the Hijack album was released on CD in Germany.

I can't reiterate enough how dope that Krown Rulers album is.

You could definitely say the same for just about any indie release coming out of the Berkley / Bay Area around that time. A lot of that shit wasn't even pressed up on vinyl, it was simply circulated through $5 tapes those cats sold at their shows.

A couple that immediately come to mind are Z-Man's "A Verse or Two" and "4 Hours of Sleep" tapes, which are incredibly dope (especially "4 Hours...").

A lot of early Living Legends material has never made the jump from analog to digital, either. Murs' "CoMURShul" tape, the Log Cabin tape, the first few Mystik Journeymen / Unsigned & Hella Broke tapes...

There's an absolute wealth of dope Bay shit that's still languishing on cassette, waiting for some dork to rip through a TEAC deck.

They used to play it on Rap City and I'm pretty sure Yo!MTV Raps.
I think Ed Lover had something to do with this group.
I have a copy of the 12" here somewhere, but I don't know how the condition is.
Used to love this video-
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EeDbtAalVUc&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EeDbtAalVUc&hl ... 2=0x999999" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I'm guessing Shock G was part of this group.

Actually, Shock G was just featured in this song, not part of the group.

There are THOUSANDS of tape only rap releases. It was the most affordable format for indie music throughout most of the 90s and was probably the most popular in local/small market hip hop cities, particularly the bay and the midwest.
