DJ Eli Escobar

So I know most of us know who DJ Eli is at this point. He popped up on the Stretch and Bob show back in the late 90's once or twice, and had his own show called Night Train on KCR on Tuesday nights where he played mostly originals, with a dash of hip hop. He also was part of the Cloud Kickers production team, who produced some joints for Cage and others.

The dude is a seriously ill DJ, if you did not know. I honestly challenge anyone to show me a DJ who mixes better than him. His mixing is flawless, and his knowledge of music is something real serious. Nowadays he spins mostly dance/electro type of music, and has been producing the same genre.

Anyways, he filled in on EVR for Mark Ronson a few times a few years back, and there were two nights where he really went in on the hip hop, one was an 80's set and one was a 90's set. He had them up on his blog, but those links died when zshare crashed back when. Anyways, I upped them in one zip for anyone who does not have them. Both sets are real dope man.

Th 90's mix is so nice. Still get's a monthly spin from me. Nasty vaz was with him that night and it sounded like a old nighttrain show and they sounded like they was having mad fun. Does anyone have any nighttrain show's they can up as there impossible to come by. I was hoping eli would put them up on his blog but as yet nothing. Also i got a eli mix from way back which i haven't seen anywhere. I will up it very soon.
