^I got a bunch of Mayfield shit, but I don't have that "best of" joint, sorry.
I found links on google to a 1998 CD "best of", but all the links look shady,
I wouldn't fuck with them.
Unless someone comes through with that for you, let me know if you want
some of his albums.

Anyone have this cd or link to it? I remember it came out in 2000-02 sometime. I think this features the Masai Bay - Crossword Verse song. Can anyone hook it up?

I'm putting this together for you right now. I'll have it posted before I go to
sleep. Tough picking favorites from this guy. Definite goat status in the
funk/soul game.

This is only selections from the 6 or 7 albums I have in my computer right
now. But I think it'll do well for now.
A couple of tracks are demos that were on a CD re-issue.
Like "Ghetto Child" is the demo for "Little Child Runnin Wild".
"Hard Times" was remade by Baby Huey into the classic that's known
for the Wu Tang sample(couple other people used it, too):

Nas - Street's Disciple

Prior to the album dropping there were different versions of a few songs that leaked out.... I had them on an old computer.

The only two I can remember being different were:
Disciple (the beat was slightly different, more piano i believe)
Thief's Theme ("murder the dj" instead of "wreck the dj")

If anyone could help me out with those it'd be appreciated
