I'm looking for that one too, man. Amazing track, especially for 82.
I'm wondering if the rest of the album has any bangers or at least samples.
I'll let you know if I find it. Keep me posted, too.(nh)

^Dope. All I could find out there was dead links and a youtube clip:
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/M4IWpuU41WA&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/M4IWpuU41WA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
If nobody comes through, I'll convert the video to a mp3 and if the quality
is decent, I'll post it. I can get rid of that annoying click at the beginning of the vid, at least.

As posted in Rick Rubin:
When I first heard the Dusty Fingers volumes, one of the songs that really jumped out at me was Sven Libaek's 1970 track "Misty Canyon".

Misty Canyon
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/sh ... on=8,0,0,0" width="335" height="28" id="divplaylist"><param name="movie" value="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 189978-212" /><embed src="http://www.divshare.com/flash/playlist? ... 189978-212" width="335" height="28" name="divplaylist" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashpl ... d></object>

On the strength of this track, I tried to hunt down everything in his discography. Most of his albums were extremely hard to find right around the turn of the century, but eventually, pretty much everything from his glory years would surface on the net.

Here's a compilation that I put together for the ride:

Sven Libaek (1968-1974)
1. Lost City
2. Seasnakes
3. Inner Space
4. Inner Space II
5. Dark World
6. Nocturnal Lullaby
7. Crown Of Thorns
8. Attacking Sharks
9. Beche De Mer
10. Music For Eels
11. News From The Exchange
12. Quasars
13. No Flowers On Venus
14. Solar Flares
15. Misty Canyon
16. Soul Thing
17. Touching Hands
http://www.mediafire.com/?1gngujjy5nn

Track 1: To Ride A White Horse LP (1968)
Tracks 2-10: Inner Space LP (1973)
Track 11: Nickel Queen LP (1971)
Tracks 12-14: Solar Flares LP (1974)
Tracks 15-16: My Thing LP (1970)
Track 17: The Set LP (1970)

More samples:

The Lost City

There's a good amount of dope Australian jazz from the 60s & 70s, but I think that Sven is probably the best I've ever heard.

Mediafire is a little gay, so if there's anything wrong with the link, let me know.

I knew this would be a blog you would enjoy. It might not be for everybody, but it's got gems if someone was to go through it all. And it's not even a week old so it's definitely a blog to watch for the deep, deep, diggers type ish.
It's run by dude who has this for his profile image:

How couldn't I check it? Whether the pic is mad old or not, still a great blogger profile.

Hahaaa, no doubt. Yeah, he's got some really off the wall shit up there. I don't think anyone can possibly be into everything he posts, but he's definitely been putting some gems up there.
Honestly, I'm having trouble even keeping up since he posts like 20 times a day.
