ok, so he was a bit of a dick but aside from managing the Sex Pistols he was instrumental in getting Hip Hop noticed in the UK after he spent sime time in NYC with Bambataa. Buffalo Gals is up there with Rappers Delight, The Message and Rockit as 'day one' for a lot of heads.

I've seen this on a couple other blogs, but I thought it was worth sharing. I happened to grab it from Meatskull.

OK, so this mix is all over the interwebs like a mad womanג€™s lunch, but it deserves to be posted here at the ג€˜Skull cos itג€™s what Iג€™m all about ג€“ sharing creative vision, singular obsession and an ear for a great tune. Malcolm McLaren had all these in spades. Sure, the guy could be a giant douchebag, but at least he was aware of that and used it to his advantage, thus ensuring him a place in pop history. Oh yeah, mixed by Primo!
