Shit, I don't check the google readers for a few days and miss it. I hope they don't sell right out cause I definitely need that box set, just won't have dough til tax season. That owlqaeda dude is a good egg though. I bet if someone just shot him a kite, he'll come through.

Fuuuuuuu.. that's like one of my main weak spots on internetting. I have no accounts anywhere except here, VA, DWG, BigLonline and TRM's site, and I barely post at anywhere else but here.
Hopefully someone here can get to this for us.

Okay, I just grabbed this from a private torrent site, but I got the V0 'cause I didn't want to download a gig of FLAC files that I'd end up converting anyway. Uploading now.

HQ Hip Hop just posted the Syl Johnson boxset in both FLAC and 320 CBR for those who'd prefer either of those rips:

This solo album from Funkadelic's Eddie Hazel might not be as rare as some of the joints on here, but it's a classic funk album and includes several dope bonus tracks. Frantic Moment has the sample for Gangstarr's Take Two and Pass.

Image

1. California Dreamin'
2. Frantic Moment
3. So Goes The Story
4. I Want You (She's So Heavy)
5. Physical Love
6. What About It?
7. California Dreamin' (Reprise)

1994 Bonus Tracks:
8. Smedley Smorganoff
9. Lampoc Boogie
10. From The Bottom Of My Soul
11. Unkut Funk

I've got some great Jazz albums from the 70's I'd like to post up too, but I gotta listen to some of this stuff I was grabbin' all last night. This thread is great guys, keep up the good work.

Classic fusion album from Freddie Hubbard that features Herbie Hancock and Ron Carter. Title track is sampled by Tribe on Sucka N****. Also has a killer live version of the track with Stanley Turrentine, Billy Cobham, and Airto Moreira.

02. Delphia
03. Suite Sioux
04. The Intrepid Fox
05. Cold Turkey
