:: Wicked's 2010 Hiphop Year In Review 3 Hour Special ::

Post by Wicked »

Whatג€™s up yג€™all, hereג€™s my ג€œ2010 Hiphop Year In Review Specialג€ from my Hiphop radio mixshow a couple of weeks ago. For just about 4 hours, I spun most of my favorite joints from 2010 that were released on vinyl or cd. And as always, all songs were spun on two 1200ג€™s and a Rane mixer with songs on cd played on a Sony cd player with pitch control. Enjoy...

So are all of these that you are posting actual Mixes you made? Mixes as in DJ type shit... Not just "compilations"? If so, did you make them just mixing vinyl? I'm just curious...

Ok, that's cool. So you made them years ago... How were they made if you didn't use vinyl? CDJ? Serato? Sorry man, I'm just curious.

And as long as your blends are on point and your cuts & scratches are decent, I don't see why anyone wouldn't enjoy them.

*EDIT* step one, relax! It's a simple question that I am curious about. How do you know that others are not interested in that information as well? Do you speak for everyone? No. This is a "Discussion Forum" in case you forgot... And in discussion forums, people ASK QUESTIONS.

*EDIT 2* Naw man, I would not have gone on a rant... I just would have known not to mess with his mixes. That's one of the reasons I ask. And again, you don't speak for everyone...

no one else gives a shit - you ever see anyone else ask the same sort of retarded shit you come out with?
This thread has pretty much stayed as just links for dope mixes so didnt want you derailing it with your usual bullshit (and you exactly what I mean).
If he'd have said 'no-they arent mixed' or 'I used all MP3s' you'd have gone off on your 'thats wack Im so dope and more Hip Hop than KRS ONE's nutsack' rant for the 10000th time

I'm curious, how is it you have ??????? on a few of the playlists of your own mixes??? That makes NO SENSE! How could you not know the song you are mixing???

*EDIT* (in response to Brandon's post below) So Brandon, I guess that means you used mp3's to make these mixes??? And obviously, you have mp3's in which you have no clue as to who's the artist or what the song title is, huh? Wow! And you STILL never answered my question as to HOW you made these so-called "mixes" of yours? Did you use a computer program? Did you even physically MIX these yourself? Curious minds wanna know...

"Wicked = Genuinely loves Hiphop and respects it because he grew up during the time when it wasn't full of southern mongoloids and Lil Wayne rappers. From his mixes you can tell he knows his shit. The problem is, when you are a smart dude preaching to a bunch of fucking morons, you end up getting singled out as the douche."

@randy, thats a great point. if u can help a brotha out that will be helpful.
i have so much music its crazy, but some of those underground joints are hard to tell off the bat. i just know how which sounds.

so go ahead and check out a few and see if u like them.

*EDIT* yes i did these myself years ago, i used my friends equipment tho. no vinyl was used. i did physically did these myself. i am sorry i didnt know the name of that track, if u wanna arrest me then feel free.
i like u Randy, so u trying to get me mad or angry or riled up dont work. im gonna talk to u man to man. and u accusing me of not doin these mixes is kinda crazy. but i just hope u like them man. we can keep this goin if u want but its not gonna go anywhere.
