Come on the cd costs 3 euro, you will not pay less for digital files for sure.foobar wrote:I've been tryin to download:

never know they dropped that as a single but sorry i don't have it. i have a link to "Recognize & Realize" promo VLS, but i guess that doesn't help you at all.cliffw1125 wrote:Looking for Big Noyd Recognize & Realize Part 2 vls
can someone please, plesae, please (with sugar on to lol) anyone who has it upload the K-Def remix of Kym Rae's "Ease Your Mind" performed by Sadat X and Grand Puba. if no one got it, then the original version with the emcees ripping that's something i want to, but first and foremost the K-Def remix which was released on white label only. i'm doing a K-Def compilation btw, one of the most underrated producers of all time if you ask me. it will feature both rarer tracks and stuff that's alot easier to get ahold of and spans over his entire career!

I need to hear that track and a K-Def comp would be great.claaa7 wrote:never know they dropped that as a single but sorry i don't have it. i have a link to "Recognize & Realize" promo VLS, but i guess that doesn't help you at all.cliffw1125 wrote:Looking for Big Noyd Recognize & Realize Part 2 vls

speaking of k-def
http://www.discogs.com/World-Renown-Unt ... se/1396122
I know K-Def released this album over his myspace a while ago, but there's one track that has never surface
The second track "World Renown", as well as all the other skits on the album
Anyone have it?
You can hear a snippet of it at the beginning of their music video:

looking for these:
I'm trying to find MP3 copies of Pete Rock/Freddie Foxx "U Krazy" and "Patch Up The Pieces" (but not from the Street Triumph mixtape) and also Bumpy Knuckles "The Life" (but not from DJ Premier's Checc Ya Mail mixtape).
Were they ever released anywhere else? I'm wanting to get the whole original song of each and not the mixed versions.
-Thanks!
edit: okay I've found this version of "Patch Up The Pieces"
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RNYNEY4L
Is this an original version or did someone simply edit out the Japanese rhymer from DJ Muro's version?

i hope this track is on there
to everyone asking about the K-Def compilation, it's done and of course the Nonchalant joint is on there my man AtlantisWasReal (on a side note, yes, i definitely believe Atlantis existed too). K-Def been one of my favorite producers ever since i heard him on Tragedy's sophomore album which he made the most of.
the compilation will be the first in the history of The Lost Tapes that will be a double CD (if you want to call it that), 26 tracks spanning from 1992 to 2007 i think. i've been trying to get people to open up their eyes to K-Def for a long time, but i know on this forum people know what's up so no need for that but still, i couldn't make it 75 minutes which i first wanted cuz there's too much goodies in that catalouge and still there is nothing from the Intelligent Hoodlum or Lords of The Underground albums :)
another question regarding K-Def, i bet y'all remember "Real Live Gangster" where he remixed Jay-Z's "American Gangster" and it was pretty damn banging. problem was that it was only released in 96 kbps :/ anyone got a hold of a better version, even 128 kbps would be fine, anythings better. i hope that drop on CD/LP, i'll buy it. i even mailed K-Def and asked but he never answered me.

i totally missed out on that! i found a link to that album, didn't even know these guys recorded an album. i noticed there's no production credits but we know K-Def was down with them through "How Nice I Am" (i noticed that's missing, maybe they changed the name on that white label to that?) and Marley Marl produced "Come Take A Ride" - K-Def did the remix called the "West Coast Vibe" or something like that (it's on the comp i'm dropping).skater4041 wrote:speaking of k-def

most likely it was produced by Marley Marl and K-Def together, like 50/50 (give or take) just like the Lords of the Underground albums, Tragedy's sophomore and all those 12" releases. it's gonna be interesting to hear, i like the two tracks i've heard from those guys.
do y'all think "Live & Direct From The House Of Hits" is a good title for the compilation i'm dropping?

Hey Claaa7, looking forward to the compilation. That "Real Live Gangster" did come out on 2LP vinyl - http://www.discogs.com/Jay-Z-vs-K-Def-R ... se/1366515claaa7 wrote:to everyone asking about the K-Def compilation, it's done and of course the Nonchalant joint is on there my man AtlantisWasReal (on a side note, yes, i definitely believe Atlantis existed too). I'll dub my copy and up it here for you, though I won't have time until the weekend.
Also, I never knew that World Renown album got bootlegged on wax, will have to track a copy down.
debonair_P: that would be extremely appreciated fam!!!!
my blog is fucking with me for some reason right now, otherwise i would upload it already but hopefully it will work soon. about the world renown album, i found it:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D6L8AYDA
it has 10 tracks and an instrumental. the track order is not the same as the white label posted on discogs tho and as Skater4041 mentioned it doesn't have the skits or the song called "World Renown" but instead has "How Nice I Am" so maybe it is the same song after all?

regarding the Real Live Gangster vinyl
Source of this release is unfortunately the 96 kbps files that K-Def made available for free download.

damn that's a shame, i don't know why he would release it in the lowest possible bitrate that's even close to listenable. like i said i asked him to release a limited amount of CDs or LPs, guaranteeing he would get them sold, but too bad he didn't answer. i guess he didn't care too much for the project, but it is a banger for sure.Stieflkater wrote:regarding the Real Live Gangster vinyl
