de la soul - philadelphia 5-16-89 (soundboard)
Here's a real gem from De La Soul's "Three Feet High & Rising" tour. It was recorded off of the soundboard, so the quality is outstanding.

great find
live rap has a bad rep, and about 8 out of 10 times it deserves it, but it's really a shame more high quality recordings don't exist of the exceptions to the rule.

Just got finished listening to it after downloading last night, it's a definite gem of the Golden Era and addition to your De La album catalog. Thanks for digging the performance up for us. Here's my post: http://cratesofjr.blogspot.com/2011/06/ ... ve-in.html
Audio: Organized Konfusion Interviewed by DJ Riz & WildMan Steve, 1994 http://bit.ly/stress1994" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
^ it is indeed and also very good sound quality for a recording of this type, much props again. also i must say that was a nice review of "Three Feet High & Rising" you had scanned from Melody Maker there Brandon, very spot on. i've been listening to alot of De La lately, whatever mood you're there's always one album in their catalouge that will fit that mood and day.
