I tracked this down a while ago for the Chubb Rock appearance... Some okay production, but I find Mack pretty unlistenable on the mic.

Sounds kind of like a tamer version of Crustified Dibbs-era Rugged Man. The Lost Boyz remix is probably my favorite joint on here, if only because of the beat.

Anybody got this? http://www.discogs.com/Mack-Da-Maniak-W ... ase/944078 I'd love to get my hands on that instrumental.

I love both remixes of What Goes Up. A lot of comparisons have been made between Mack and O.D.B, but I think this sort of style was just popular back then. He would have made a great addition to the original Brooklyn Zoo.
Prepare yourself now for the six man wedding!

Yeah I heard a lot of ppl comparin' him and ODB, but I didn't really hear that much similarity between them.

As for the album, production is dope as fuck (majority done by Tony T. who also produced a couple of songs on Kool G Rap & DJ Polo's Rated XXX) and Mack is mostly the voice like Guru said, which to me equals a nice album.

Stand outs, imo, are: I'm A Maniak, What Goes Up remixes, Orgie feat. Shawnie Ranx & my fav. Divorce.
