Believe me, I can't afford either. Well, this may have been the last big purchase I can make until probably next tax season. I kinda went nuts buying vinyl trying to rebuild my collection and add more goodies to it. I went overboard and really shouldn't have even copped this one, but I'm sure I could get most of my dough back if I sell it later this year when I'm desperate for some dough.

Too much, but really not that bad considering the amount of stuff included and the fact that all you get for $80 is one record from other labels.
So, yeah, about $90, I think.

I just scored that Reality 12" on ebay today. Seeing as I just got a new job, I figured it was fitting (plus I'm trying to fill out that collection). I think Remember the Times will be the challenging one. :pause:

I'm always open to trades kartman - hit me up!

you got the reality 12" that went for like $90 from the "mixoftrix" user????? i was watching that but it went too high, i got "the boros" 12" for $35 instead :gyeah:
as far as trades are concerned, i don't think that i have anything you're interested in, check the Trades thread if you want, i got something posted over there.
Remember the Times is really hard to get, I've seen auctions that it reached $300-400. Damn...

Good cops, homie.
Copped the new Roc Marcy last week, great album, imo. Gotta grab the EP on vinyl but damn, I'm type just that damn broke right now. Hopefully I can grab it before it's gone.

Of course, also copped the Constant Deviants Problem Child 12" along with a few others from Six2SixShift:

i'm pretty sure they don't.

bee why's album (full of old tracks and 12"s material) was to drop on ughh.com, but i read on this forum that the demand was low and they never released it.

as far as constant deviants are concerned, i think that they'll drop some releases on cd format in the future

^ Oh aight. That's a shame about that Bee Why album. Duke brings heat, would love to have some material from him in CD format.

And yeah, hopefully Constant Deviants puts something out for the CD heads in the future.

Yeah, me too. From what I heard, instead of pressing it up, they decided to throw it up for digital sale first and probably only a few heads bought it and shared it and everyone else downloaded it.
Sucks. I don't know just how reliable my source is, but he seems straight up so far. (nh)
There's a slight possibility that the actual LP will be dropped on vinyl within the next couple of years. Not positive though. From what I heard, it would be 500 vinyl copies going for either $40 or $50 a piece.

That's cool that it might be on vinyl, but that doesn't help the CD heads.

yeah, that's some bullshit
i don't see the reason of not pressing cds, instead of only selling 500 vinyl lps for $50 they could also sell 1500 cds for, say, $20
anyway, i hope they press hard copies, i'm copping 2 for sure

Was in Vancouver for work a couple times over the past 2 weeks so I went diggin and hit up Vinyl on West Hastings. It's one of the best record stores I have been to in Canada as far as Hip Hop goes, with almost double what Play De Record has in Toronto...

I was quite happy to find a copy of S.O.P. (Smoke Out Productions) - Styles Bw Bok Bok (12 Inch) for $15.

Also picked up:

Da Germ - More & More (12 Inch)
Scritti Politti - Tinsletown To Boogiedown (12 Inch)
RZA - Tragedy (12 Inch)
Screwball - HOSTYLE (12 Inch)
Thurst - Emcee (12 Inch)
Sonya Blade - Look For The Name (12 Inch)
GP-WU - Black On Black Crime (12 Inch)
N-Tyce - Hush Hush Tip (12 Inch)

Picked up a bunch more but I forget off the top. I'll edit em in when I get back to T.O...
