The site/blog linked to above mentions this:

The Omen (Demo, 2001)
Sadat X, Diamond D, and Camari come together as The Omen. I got my hands on this album advance back in 2001 along with a Sadat X album advance. 6 years later, neither albums have hit the shelves therefor I share with you The Omen... Maybe in near future I will also leak the Sadat album. To my knowledge The Omen had signed to Up Above and released "It's our World b/w Half Steppin". While searching online I came across another 12inch "Do it Now b/w Get on Up". Aside from these two 12inch releases I think it's fair to say that they have yet to release any other material.

I never really liked the Omen tracks I heard, but does anyone have the Sadat X advance mentioned from around 2001? I don't think I ever heard it, might have but I don't remember it at all.
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

Yeah, I remember copping at least one Omen record and thinking it was pretty damn bland. Wouldn't mind hearing the album though, and would love to hear the Sadat LP.

I know I had it from around the same time. I'll try to find it tomorrow. It wasn't anything that great.

do you mean the Sadat lp wasn't too good? Or The Omen?

Verge hit the nail on the head, The Omen tracks were bland, not very good at all. I think Diamond re-did one of the tracks and it sounded better.

What's the Huge Heffner Chronicles like? I keep putting off checking it out, damn, I was a huge Diamond D fan but look what things have come too... Where I'm scared to listen to his latest material.

Huge Heffner was pretty awful, sadly. But there was that ONE track that was pretty great, maybe a couple decent i really dont remember. It had a video, something with "love" in it, pause, I'll see if I can find it.
EDIT: I was wrong, it's this:

Downloading the og "I Heard You Dont Know / Light Up Da els" off youtube rt now. Light Up da L's is ill. After recently copping the 2001 Insane Psycho Home LP, I'm surprised at how dope these cats stayed, as opposed to bubble gumming it up and gaying off in their music to try to get unreachable commercial success. Much props due to kukoo.

EDIT: just heard a small clip of Politic and I dont think i wanna hear that one at all, peep this crap:
<object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6R7EoHDSkU&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T6R7EoHDSkU&hl ... &version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>
lol, no thanks jack.

[quote="shadowmaster"][quote="Hobus Maguire"]Thanks. :cheers:

I dunno why this demo is so hard to find now though. The wiki article made it sound as though it was out there on a few sites:

[quote]The group was short lived but they recorded a demo album which featured artist Guru of Gang Starr, John Fort

I think I got lucky, TheBigSleep holds the crown with the googling. Make sure you check out the 'Everything' track, it's on youtube as DBD featuring Parrish Smith I think, I can upload it later. It goes very nicely with 'Make It In Life' from Group Home's 2nd lp, also featuring 8-Off.

Nah, I have no idea which track was corrupted, Everything was the 12" I asked about, Wicked knew about the DBD material so I managed to find it.

If someone can get me a link to Grand Agent "Fish Outta Water" (and not the remix album) I would be grateful.
