btw, i got a request. i'm putting together a compilation of all the old Fat Joe collaborations and such, from '93 to '96-97. i can't get Audacity to work on my new laptop so i was wondering if someone could rip that interlude with Fat Joe from "Runaway Slave" where he goes "This is Joe, the Fat Gangsta - and i'm blowing up in '93" - just a rip of the interlude (in 192 kbps), i think it's about 30 seconds. i would love to use that as the intro (and "A View From the Underground" would go as outro). thx to anyone who would do this.

The tracklist looks like songs that are probably second nature to most users of this forum, but if it's mixed by Lord Finesse and rare I think it's worth getting regardless. It's good to see a real mixtape once & awhile in this era of single-song mp3 blogging

Try Cacophony, you can chop audio in it. I used to use it alot before I got Ableton & Pro Tools.

Its a 3 hour mp3 I found on a blog a long time ago (the blog is no longer available but i saved the d/l link). Its from around 1997. It features stuff from the Stretch n Bob "Boogie and the Barber" show on Hot 97, WBAI's Underground Railroad, The regular Stretch n Bob show on WKCR and some stuff from WKCR's Night Train.

i went through that one earlier in the day - within the same song, he'll mix up a ditc beat with a wu acca and then switch it up and do a ditc acca to a wu beat.
