Lord Finesse - Rare Selections EP Vol. 3

Post by rt7 »

Everyone!

We just wanted to give an official heads-up to the entire vinyl collecting world about our new EP release: Lord Finesse "Rare Selections Vol.3". Pre-orders are starting this week and this is limited to only 200 copies for mail order. As usual, it is expected to sell out very quickly, so do not procrastinate with your orders. All the release and shipping info is below and the artwork is attached. Send us your order e-mail (with the below required information) to nosleeprecordings@gmail.com and we will send you a purchase invoice. Thanks as always for your support!

**our apologies if you have already received this e-mail**

Lord Finesse: Rare Selections EP Vol. 3

This third (and last) of three exclusive Lord Finesse EPs, features NINE previously unreleased remixes, tracks and alternate versions recorded between 1991 and 2005! A collector's dream and a D.I.T.C. essential, this EP was painstakingly created to give the fans the records that they have been requesting for years. On this one, we decided to treat the heads to some joints they have been asking us to release for awhile. Highlighted by the DJ Premier remix of "Keep The Crowd Listening" and Finesse's unreleased 3rd single from his second LP; the "Stop Sweating The Next Man" Remix, we are ending this Finesse EP series with a bang! Restored and mastered to the highest quality, these versions finally make their way to 12" vinyl and like the rest of the series, this EP is limited only to this 300 pressed vinyl. Out of the 300 records, only 200 copies will be available for worldwide mail order, so please get your pre-orders in early to avoid missing this opportunity, as this record will not be repressed!

And the cover:

The Premier remix is from 2005 and I remember hearing it then or early 2006 at the very latest, so it's been around. For anyone who hasn't heard it:

I don't get it either, I've felt that way for years now. And yeah, that's the best quality rip I've seen/found, I was hoping for something better myself actually. Guess I'll probably have to wait.

Good looking out Sleep.

Kimani, this is a scene rip by the FTD crew (hence the tag at the end). They released the first 2 Rare Selections EPs, and in addition the new Shorty Long a few days ago:

(Props to BC for upping this earlier!)

Wow, I just found this one as well:

Lord Finesse & DJ Mike Smooth - Here I Come Remix / Keep The Crowd Listening Remix

Code: Select all

01 04:05 Here I Come Remix (Main)
02 04:05 Here I Come Remix (Instrumental)
03 03:53 Here I Come Remix (Accapella)
04 04:24 Keep The Crowd Listening Remix (Main)
05 04:24 Keep The Crowd Listening Remix (Instrumental)
06 04:06 Keep The Crowd Listening Remix (Accapella)
This release was a free bonus 12" to customers who purchased all three 'Rare Selections EP' volumes or those who purchased two or more copies of 'Rare Selections EP Vol. 3'
I hope every Christmas @ Troy is like this.
