Tried to avoid "nerd rap". Still don't quite understand what you're looking for. That Last Emp joint is the epitome of smooth/mellow, imo.

It seems that you want hard raps and smooth beats from looking at you're list. If that's the case then any BCC from the '90s should suffice.

I love that Jazzy Jeff track For Da Love Of Da Game! One of the best parts of it is the live bass guitar, George Benson style. Another from that BBE album is Rock Wit You, it's an R&B cut though, no rhyming.
