I just read this. Did everyone else know this? I also read he isn't really Dres from Blacksheep's brother. All these years I thought he was. Is that true?

i saw it in some random article. Then I checked wiki (not the best) and saw it just now in the comments on youtube.

I can't find any info on if it's absolutely true. That's crazy if it is. I had no clue.

No, Jeff and Chi-Ali are not the same person. I assume you are a fan of De La, so if you watch their Buddy video, you will actually see Jeff & Chi-Ali standing beside each other dancing in the same shot. They are easy to spot because they are the only little boys in the video. Chi-Ali is the taller one.

No, Jeff and Chi-Ali are not the same person. I don't know 100% but it has always sounded just like Chi to me and would make perfect sense.

What can I say? No sarcasm here, this is one of those internet misinformation things that refuses to die, imo. I think the proof is in the voices but until Chi or De La or the real Jeff come out and debunk, I'm up against the cybermajority.

I correct myself tho: they do sound REMOTELY alike. They sound like pre-adolescents.

Idk if Chi is Jeff or not but he most certainly is NOT related to Dres from Black Sheep... However they do strike a resemblance to each other, in the same way Redman and K Solo do... Both Chi and Dres have said in interviews that they are not blood relatives... True though, kinda funny how 2 decades later people are still having the same conversation about those 2...
