I'm looking for any tapes that have classic 90's R&B tracks blended with hip hop beats from the 90's/00's. Specifically, anything along the lines of this Silva Sirfa tape Step One posted on his blog:

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, man. I'll check that out. Honestly, I'm more so looking for tapes that are heavy on the R&B accapella/hip hop instrumental blends...

I grew up on Chill Will From The Eastside, Evil Dee and Ron G doing R&B/Hip Hop blends. I think any of their early 90's tapes are worth a try for that sound. Evil De used to blend like that a lot up at Hot 97.

DJ Juice - R&B blends tapes/cd's are the best imo if you just want all R&B tracklist blends.

I've listened to some Ron G tapes before, liked what I heard. Maybe it's time to revisit. Didn't know Evil Dee got down like that, tho. I listened to some of his Tape Kingz joints years ago (One, Ha! Ha!, and one called Fat Beats, I think...) but don't remember a lot of blending. Any others I should peep from dude?

Check out E's Monday Night Flavor Mix tapes from who ever can provide them online, that show was great. The most memorable blends he did I can think of were on that show. As far as his mixtapes, I need to get caught up on ones from the 90's. He has a few up at his podomatic page.

There's millions of mixtapes if you scroll down a bit
(Ron G & RnB with hard hiphopbeats threads)
