Mass Appeal
1)smooth sample
2)slammin drums and scratches
3)Guru's passive-agressive threats towards wack emcees who sell out
perfect combination.

Damn son, so many to choose from. I'll go with "Who's Gonna Take The Weight?"
The game is a oxymoron; we sold free-base

theres two gangstarr songs that are top ten all time for me...as for the gangstarr catalog they have always been 1 and 1a
1. step into the arena- muscially put together better than any rap song ever...the drums are unreal and overall there is so much dopeness going on and primo somehow brings it together flawlessly
1a. mass appeal- the ultimate head nodder...i love guru but the best part of the song is after his last verse when the beats just rides out...i made a post on here a couple weeks ago asking if anyone knows where in 'horizon drive' primo got the sample...i cant for the life of me find it

'Take A Rest' - when that bassline drops, and that ill break from 'UFO'... Sick. Definitely my favourite.
But yeah, could probably be a top ten, twenty, thirty even. 'Now Your Mine' is slept on too.

Above The Clouds.
Although I think deck outshines Guru, if were talking about Guru heating it up then check The Technique.

"Code Of The Streets" or "Above The Clouds" - but if you put a gun to my head I'd have to go with the latter.

Yeah, that was such a creative use of the sample, and it makes that track sound so hype

Code of the Streets
Dwyck
Work (If only for the beat)
Above The Clouds
Just 2 Get A Rep
Depending on the day, any of these could be my favorite single Gang Starr song.
Is this hiphop? Hell no, this is war.
I've been trying to tell you that since How About Some Hardcore.

Above the clouds without question. Guru kills it, Deck kills it, the beat is beyond dope, it's just a crazy song.
