Queensbridge Part Two (Killer Ben, HELP US!)

Post by MGP »

Well, I tried to start a good QB thread here a month ago and it never really caught. Things are different now, Jaz is gone and we have a lot of new blood in here.

I'm going to set this shit off properly with some old school shit and some rarities-

Tragedy- Coke Is It (1986)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KW4DQ5G0

Tragedy Unreleased Selection (courtesy of I Drive A Lexus last summer, this is a 15 minute mix I think)-
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5AYODYEN

Cormega's first appearance on wax at age 16 as MC Cor on Going Straight to the Top. It came from Hot Day's compilation, Hot Day's Turn, and features Arkim. You can hear a lot of where Trag and Nas got their flows from when you hear Arkim.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=59TWATMA

More from Arkim with Hot Day's Burning in 1989:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CDGQTOZD

Hot Day and the Super Kids- Queensbridge
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Q62ZYFP6

And some stuff that's more modern.

The uncensored version of Parole Violators by CNN featuring Tragedy. I brought this to the net myself a few years ago. You won't find this anywhere as the LP censored it.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZBY0YNOH

Big Pun and Cormega- Rhyme for Rhyme (Awful quality, but sick as fuck)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KLV74GQ5

Now, I know Killer Ben knows a whole lot of shit in terms of the history of gangs, hoods, and what teams rappers were down with and what makes Queensbridge ill is how some of the illest rappers were catching bodies in QB as thugs. I also know his collection of this kind of shit has got to be huge so Ben, please hit us with whatever you have man! I'm sure you can fill us all in on The Goodfellas, Cormega's history in the hood and Lakey's situation... I mean Lake shot a cop and got off and then linked up with Death Row- pretty fuckin' sick.

Here is the link to the first QB thread with a decent amount of audio:
http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtop ... eensbridge

I also have some white label-only Mobb Deep and Nas remixes I am going to upload soon, I just have to find them. They are sick. Two live Cormega jonits too.

Whats the lineup on this? Obviously Cormega is the 2nd guy and sounds like Roxanne Shante's little brother, lol. Also, is this around the 89 tip too?

I've posted the first file before but it never gets old... the other shit should be new for you guys...

Cormega Rapping Live at Mobb Deep's Infamous Release Party in 1995:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=B9H8HDM2

Cormega live video, some in-store where he does Killaz Theme. It's bugged, the whole crowd does the hook like "We wanna kill you.... THATS RIGHT!!!" This is for download, this isn't some crappy YouTube flick...
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UO4LKHD1

Ok, now this was something a friend of mine hooked up. It's the first time he's ripped vinyl before so there is one problem. My man found a Nas Hate Me Now/Mobb Deep White Lines remix 12'. It's a white label with no credits to the producer and it's sick. The problem? My man ripped both tracks into one audio file, it's eight and a half minutes long. I am going to upload it here and hopefully someone can split it up for us.

I need that Lake Death Row East joint. I have two joints from it that are sick, but they are the demo versions that are unmastered. I need the highlighted albums/mixtapes quite badly!

Okay a lot of you guys will have this already but some may not its dope either way and there are a few different versions flying around. This one was ripped from a few bootlegs I've picked up over the years and some tracks I've downloaded.

I wouldn't be surprised if some people on here haven't heard the best Mobb Deep album ever. It's called The Infamous.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/yg12hj

If you haven't heard it and want to avoid being sonned just dl it and don't thank anyone or let anyone know it. Just sit down and take it all in.
