MS just announced a new version of the Xbox 360 at E3. It's smaller than the current one, glossy black, has an internal (and removable) 250 GB hard drive, built in wireless N, it's "whisper quiet", has more connections on the back for audio/video and it has connections for Kinect (Natal), although Kinect will work with all current 360s.
Pricing changes: -
New 360 (available from this week) = $299
Original Elite = $249
Original Arcade = $149

the glossy plastic just looks so cheap though. I like the matte plastic much better, but otherwise the design is pretty nice. about time they included integrated wifi.
because they are breaking/wearing out from people over nerding off on them and it will help people justify buying ONE more xbox before the next comes out, I've been debating upgrading to the falcon board boxes for over a year and this will prolly push me over the edge.

I'll tell you what one of the defects won't be: being able to watch trailer park boys in HD on my TV off of my my computer through the muthafuckin air (miracles)
Im just gonna stick with my basic 360 until they start releasing 3D game systems. I havent heard of anything yet, but I saw that new 3D tv and video games cant be too far behind right?
I never knew that wifi wasn't intergrated until yesterday...LMAO! I thought all devices of this generation had that but I guess 360 has been out for a lot longer than the rest.
I know a bunch of people who are excited about this, but I just don't understand the draw. I doubt you'll ever get full use out of the 250 gigs of harddrive, and a used wifi off ebay goes for about $55 so why drop $300 on a new system? Yes, it looks cooler.
Yea I got mine last week, shit is great and according to the reports, these new 360's are RROD proof, so they only have a 1 year warranty from Microsoft. My old White joint was on the brink of dying, making all types of noise, so an upgrade was the only correct course of action in my case.
