It has been. It's because the router isnt properly ported or whatever but I don't know how to do that.
Help please.
I have a router and my soulseek is messing up

If you're using the latest version of Soulseek (155), the default port for forwarding is 6183.
So if you're using that version, you need to forward port 6183 to your PC.
Um, I don't know what to tell you because I don't know what Router Brand / Model you are using. I did a search on Google with the terms "forward port soulseek" (without quotes) and the first link actually brought me to this website: http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm
Check it out...

You have given me no information here. I guess you put in your Router's IP address and got to the port forwarding section. And now you have to put in an application name and the ports to use? If I'm right, here is what you do: The application name doesn't matter. Call it Soulseek for your own personal reference, just so you know if you ever have to go back to that page and ask yourself "What program did I want this port forwarded for?" And then you need to choose a range of ports to forward...the start and end number can both be the same (6183).360 wrote:Would the application be called SoulSeek?
And how d i know what numbers to start and end?
