Smash Bros. appreciation thread!

Post by IKILL »

Out of everyone game I've played for some reason I always go back to Super Smash Bros. Melee. The first one for the 64 was great...it took a bit to get used to the game play for the Cube version but these games have been dope since day 1. There's too much replay value for Smash Bros. to ever have decaying fun factor.

Rumor has it that they're releasing 'Revolution' with a new Smash Bros. online game. Shit's going to be hot.

The only thing I want more than Super Smash Bros. DS is Super Smash Bros REVOLUTION.

I cannot fucking wait.

I like the idea that Nintendo only put one on the GameCube, as if to say "We did it perfect, and if you don't think so, go fuck yourself."

There is no reason for anyone not to own this game if they own a GameCube, and if you want more of a reason, they're giving it away free when you buy a GameCube for only $99.00.

Hmm... would either of you like to explain why you are not feeling this game?

I think it is possibly the (covers face from subsequent hadookens) greatest fighting game ever conceived.

I'm more of a badass with Dr. Mario, but more importantly, there's cats that will destroy us ALL at this game. I can't wait.

i think the control is unresponsive. i have played alot of fighting games and i had a very difficult time getting the hang of this game. i was not used to the overall setup of the game and only ever played it in settings where people knew what they were doing, so the game for me has always been annoying and not very fun

also at the same time i was playing alot of WCW/NWO Revenge which, in my opinion, is the greatest fighting game ever made

so it had some stiff competition and a new control style that i never bothered to learn, which ultimately made the game frustrating and wack for me

I'm a huge fan of Falco from Star Fox. He's got some RIDICULOID Moves, but seriously, to reiterate what I've already said, I can't WAIT to play this game with you fuckers.

He's too twitchy for me. I prefer Falco's slightly delayed response time.

I've logged probably 80 hours to each game, and will log at least that many on the new one for the Revolution, and probably more because they'll be online. AND THEN I WILL CRUSH USEFF WITH MY EXTREME POWER.

The game's very basic but it has a high learning curve. One of the best if not the best fighting games out there in my opinion. Smash online is going to be dope.

Excellent game, and if this is launch with Rev. it has been a heavy contender for the first next gen system I buy but that will seal the deal with a big sloppy skull fuck

adult link (or just plain ol link on the n64) owns everyone
IMHO, there is no lyricist now or before that can match the lyrical dexterity of Qwel.
