This show seems corny and forced beyond the level it ever was before, IMO. I'll probably keep watching for the same reason I for some reason kept up with Weeds and Entourage even though they are awful, awful shows. I really haven't been into Dexter for a few seasons now, but I guess I'm mildly interested in where the story goes. Is there any plans to tie this show together and end it at some point?

I'm dreading it. The writers have said that season 6 is the season that they've always wanted to make since the show began, but given the incredible logic jumps and mishandlings they've taken over the past 2 seasons to get here, I'm not enthused.

Plus they're adding Mos Def to the cast. Not cool.

lol....I thought that was him...I came on here to confirm/deny that, but there it is....

Yah, not sure how I feel about almighty Yasiin...but the season seems like it's off to a great start. They were filming this by my friends house and she told me she saw Lumin on set, which bugged the shit out of me too...but hopefully it will just be some flashback shit or a small cameo...

ill admit the first episode was pretty wishy washy but i thought the second episode was amazing and i can tell im gonna love this season, dexters the man

i think mos defs character is pretty cool and i like that dexter is killin fools on the regular like he used to and i feel bad for batista but i think its kinda cool deb got promoted cause fuck laguerta and i could do without the whole deb/quinn storyline but its pretty funny if you think about it cause quinns such a loser, and you can telll masuka's definitely gonna be in his prime this season and the main bad guys are pretty cool and im actually intrigued in all of the story lines, even batista and laguerta beefin is more interesting than them bein all lovey dovey, yea

I not only really like where they're going with the second episode, BUT I actually thought Mos def did a good job.

Deb as lieutenant opens up a whole new world of possibilities, especially if she's potentially the one who has to track down Dexter at some point.

At this point Dexter is the Entourage of hour long dramas. I watch it despite hating it and thinking it's stupid.

Deb is an asshole and Quinn turned soft. Dexter trying to find god thru the artist formerly known as Mos Def is good for laughs. Interesting stuff.

I'm catching up on my Dexter. Just finished season 4 which was whoa!!! Mos Def on Season 6 should be interesting. He's a damn good actor if anything.

Dammit, why isn't Deb dead yet??? Her character just should NOT be a cop.

Tonight was a lot of exposition, they're really flushing out the characters and not ignoring huge plot points and gaps in the show's history. Glad we have confirmation after 5 seasons that Deb remembers that the Ice Truck Killer is Dex's brother.

I'm still on board with this season. Glad they're seriously trying.
