He doesn't have to do it on his own, although it's probably best to do it without Jesse knowing. So with Todd's help and another barrel, it's feasible.

I'm most curious about how he will try to explain this to Jesse, if at all.

I'm sure Jesse will eventually find out, but I'm not sure how. Jesse was under the assumption that he'd never see Mike again, so I assume Walt is in the clear for now assuming he goes the barrel route with the help of Todd.

If Walt involves other people, that just creates more problems.
Todd got involved with the Untouchable Heisenberg Mafia Empire through Mike, and now Mike is dead. How do you think Todd is going to take that, especially since he already fucked up?

i think todd wouldnt have a problem with helping to dispose of mike's body since walt has "taken him under his wing" kinda sorta. hell, im sure if jesse gets too froggy about his money, todd would handle that for walt too. i actually think todd would eventually turn on walt if he learned the process well enough. i view todd as a more reckless, ambitious, and violent jesse only allowing himself to be manipulated as a means to an end.

Todd is not going to give 2 shits about Mike's death, that's just some guy that hired him. Walt is clearly in charge, Walt is the one that kept him around after he killed the kid, and Walt is the one that introduced him to cooking. And Todd is clearly down to follow orders for the team. As long as Todd keeps making money and Walt is not at odds with his uncle or whoever, I don't see them falling out (until Todd inevitably starts getting ambitious).

Didn't Todd say his family is locked up and connected?

I remember during Season 3 they hinted at someone in the DEA being a mole. I always suspected it was Gomie or the dude who got canned this year, but what about the dude who promoted Hank? They introduced him fairly quickly, but it seems like the only thing he's done so far is try to get Hank further away from the Fring case. Obviously he wouldn't be on of the 9 associated with Fring, maybe he is somebody who works for Madrigal.

as much as i'd still slide it in her to make her cream, she needs to be slapped around and told to chill the fuck out. her character has taken a plunge from the seasons before.

Saul & Jessie are gonna be thinking that Mike left the country. Walt isnt gonna tell Jessie what happened or he'll lose his shit completely (especially after the 'no one else will get killed from now on' speech)
As far as I can see, with Mike dead, the DEA have no way of connecting Mike to Walt.

If Gus was alive and Mike was in that position, would Gus have had him killed? Probably.

no real point to this post but I've only just watched that episode and got kind of amped about it.

word. mad pasty and cunty looking. Speaking of her, I can't see a good enough reason for her to not have just snitched on Walt by now. She should be smart enough to know that if she gives them a big fish like Walt then she will get immunity for that money laundering shit. Just saying, since she's so miserable and desperate, I would think that just holding the family together or hiding it from the kids is not something that would stop her from snitching.

Also, that was tough watching Mike feeling that impending doom when the cops came for him while he was with his grandkid.

I can see Todd trying to murk Jesse.

ok- here are my top three "most obvious ways to end show" so these probably wont happen.

hank finds out, heisenberg punks the fuck out of him and he stays quiet about it and hank is all hella conflicted and ashamed n shit

hank finds out, kills him

big ass gun battle but then it subsides
no one finds out about heisenberg that lives to tell about it and walt streamlines things in his operation and the show ends as he rides off into the sunset of a future that gus fring was originally destined to live. but in the final seconds there is ambiguity

there's a subtle but very big difference between what everyone predicted (he's gonna go work for declan) vs what actually happened. he didn't offer his services, he didn't submit or even really enter a partnership. he browbeat the dude into submission by invoking the big H word, and then shook him down for 5 mil to boot. he annexed their gang more than anything else, via a bluff of all things. nobody predicted that.
ummmm bro....
ALASKA wrote:any thoughts on walt approaching declan to become the distribution arm for his empire. not working for him but a partnership. with mike and jesse gone he no longer has that side of the business down. instead of working for him he is an independent supply chain. he knows how valuable his product is and so does declan. so why wouldnt he approach him with the proposition something along the line of exclusive rights for a year or two and then renegotiate down the line.

just saying.

Look's like Walt Jr. is taking after his pops (no this isn't a fake article rofllolol):
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/nat ... le4510740/
Quebec police are on the hunt for a sticky-fingered thief after millions of dollars of maple syrup vanished from a Quebec warehouse.

The theft was discovered during a routine inventory check last week at the St-Louis-de-Blandford warehouse, where the syrup is being held temporarily. The Federation of Quebec Maple Syrup Producers, which is responsible for the global strategic maple syrup reserve, initially kept the news quiet, hoping it would help police solve the crime quickly.

About 10 million pounds of syrup was stored at the site, at a value of more than $30-million.

Anne-Marie Granger Godbout, executive director of the federation, said the organization is still trying to determine how much is missing and declined to offer an estimate. But a spokesman from the Sureté du Québec said the loss was significant.

“We know that it’s millions of dollars that was stolen,” said Sergeant Richard Gagné. “It’s a very large amount.”

All of the maple syrup inventories are fully insured, according to the federation, so there will be no loss to producers.

Ms. Granger Godbout said the theft shouldn’t put the global supply of maple syrup at risk, but warned it could allow the thief to undercut legitimate producers. The federation represents about 10,000 maple syrup producers in Quebec. “Obviously those people stole the maple syrup to sell it somewhere,” she said. “If it’s a big volume, it could be very harmful for the maple syrup industry. The companies that are working in this industry will have to compete with some company that didn’t pay for the maple syrup.”

I was at my brother's house today and decided to check out which episodes they had on demand. The train robbing episode was on there, so I selected it and pressed play. My brother is 31 and had never even heard of this show before. I figured this episode wouldn't reveal too much, since very little back story is revealed and it's a solid stand-alone episode.
As each character pops up on screen I'm casually explaining who they are and how they relate too each other. I noticed my brother was slowly getting hooked. He had his laptop on his lap, but he was hardly looking at it as the show continued. When the train robbery scene starts going down, he sits up, moves the laptop away from himself and says "holy shit, I'm getting tense here." you can imagine his reaction after the fate of the kid on the motorcycle. When the show ended, I turned it off and said to him, "that's it, I'm not playing you anymore. Now you gotta start from the beginning." He tells me to fuck off and play the next one. I laughed and then he gets on eBay and starts pricing the first season. He found one for $7 used, but then decided he didn't want to wait for them to arrive. So then he suggests we go to the store and buy them tonight. I have them on Blu-ray, but he only has a DVD player. Long story short (probably too late) but he now owns the first 2 seasons.

I can't wait to hear his reactions to this show. Jesse disposing of the bodies in his bathtub and Tuco's Uncle ringing that bell during the attempted food poisoning are two moments I can't wait for him to have seen.

I like this show a lot. One of best shows on tv right now, but am I only one who thought it really started getting great last season? Before that it was entertaining show but really nothing special.
