a potentially great show that never got off the ground

had potential to become something really great but it would've taken time and hbo was not patient with developing new shows at that moment. the sopranos ended adn the wire was close to it, they needed another hit, not a slowburn cult favorite

John from Cinci was pretty cool but I kindof hold a grudge towards it since it sucked up so much of Milch's time that he wasn't able to focus on getting Deadwood a proper sendoff.

Really tough. Went with Firefly because I enjoyed every single episode.

If it wasn't on here I easily would've went with Carnivale because I was really pissed at just getting left like that.

I've actually had an idea for a reality show for years now that I gotta figure out a way to pitch. "One More Episode." Each season is a dif show going through the entire process of reuniting the cast/directors/writers, all the drama that will surely ensue, and then the season finale would be one last episode. I think it would make ratings history. Can you just imagine another episode of Melrose Place?!!!

Freaks and Geeks is pretty perfect as a standalone story, but I would love to see what they would have done with a second season. Deadwood and Carnivale were both my shit and it fucking sucked to not get to see the story come to a true close, carnivale more so than DW just because of how it did end. As for stuff that should have been canceled before it was, I totally agree about lost though. And while I do think that Sunny had a fewseasons that were garbage, the quality has increased the last season or two and we would have missed some amazing episodes, not to mention the whole fat Mac saga. And Wire season 5, while not as great as the others, is still the Wire, so there's no way I would have wanted 4 to be the end.

Well Mark Frost already shot down the casting call thing as a hoax, calling it a "baseless rumor" on twitter.
But the bluray release has been heavily rumored for about a year now. Frost himself has hinted about working on it.
Super psyched to see the 45 minutes of extra FWWM footage, lot of characters were cut from the movie completely. (wish Lynch would just reassemble the OG 4 hour cut though)
