i remember liking the first three seasons, then lithgow happened, and from that point on it all went downhill. i missed the opportunity to jump ship as well. now i'm stuck watching this horrible mess of a show.

this season keeps getting continually worse. its laughably bad at points now. since there's only 4 more eps i'm still committed but the lack of focus and execution (pun intended) this season is as bad if not worse than any of the other suspect seasons

The only two other characters introduced have been Deb's boss and the FNL girl. Between the two of them and Vogel, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hope they go with the obvious choice of Vogel.

i think the fact that this thread has struggled to even get 2 pages for the entire FINALE season really says something about how disappointing the show became.

It was laughably bad, it's like every episode has been worse than the one before. It looks like the spoilers for the final episode could end up being true. If so, it should end with a shot of the writers running out like Kushner in Punk'd, being like "we got you, fuckers! 8 year prank, and you fell for it!". Fuck it, it's not like they care at this point, the plot holes are more like plot grand canyons. Zack got killed in Vogel's kid's kill room, yet was able to stick the killers hair and blood under a desk at his house or wherever they found his body? Shit is levels of awful.

my dvr fucked up for like 30 seconds after joey is crying to dex about deb and then came back on during the flashback....so, did they say she was gonna be a vegetable or some shit forever? Ending made no sense whatsoever. So fucking lame. Call me agent double 0 deuce fo block and rest in piss.

one of the worst finales i've ever seen, if not the worst. wow. fucking terrible, and that was based on incredibly low expectations considering the last handful of seasons were garbage. Should have stopped watching after the first two seasons. They seriously made bad decision after bad decision each step of the way throughout the last episode. I was halfway through thinking "wait, this is how they're spending the final hour?" and that was BEFORE Deb was dying. Unbelievably shitty ending. Showtime has no ability to end things properly.

Recommending this show to someone results in an immediate friend-pass revocation.

only way the ending will be dope is if they did it to set up a Dexter spin off of Dexter being a bad ass lumberjack with no feelings and they essentially redo the entire Dexter series and do it right this time
