It's a poorly titled movie, but Oscar Isaac is brilliant in this. It's a dialogue heavy movie that's mostly well written and has a smattering of action throughout. Jessica Chastain is fine, and is always fun to watch but is given less to work with than Isaac. The rest of the cast holds their own here too. I think the biggest problem for me were the several anticlimactic moments sprinkled throughout the film. You never really feel fulfilled when certain plot points work themselves out, and that kind of leads you to shrug your shoulders when the movie finishes.
I understand that people are feeling betrayed by the film, but if you go in with the expectation of watching an actor really step it up and fully emerge as a powerful talent you'll get something out of this.
7 outta 10.
