Well apparently the Birdman homage was unintentional and filmed before any of them had seen it.
Interview with the director about filming the episode and how much of it was actually actually a single take (just the interior stuff basically, the exteriors are filmed in a separate location)

Yeah but they don't really have anything to benefit by lying about it either. If anything, calling it a Birdman homage would almost certainly get them more press.
Could be an instance where the director/main cast hadn't seen it but maybe the editor/sound supervisor had by the time they put the episode together.

This season has been really good. Charlie and Dee's Def Poetry was so good.

I look forward to watching Sunny episodes again.

Season definitely has been great.
The whole cast was on Conan this week, was pretty funny. The Mac/Crosby thing made me laugh pretty hard.

Yep this season has been the best in years thanks to all of them writing again IMO

I also like how they've dealt with just how sociopathic all the characters have become
