I can watch this flick over and over again.
I'm just glad the completely unedited version finally got a quality American release thanks to the Tokyo Shock/Media Blasters people.
It's nice to finally see all the back story about the cop and all the nipple torture back in the flick.

I finally got to see this on Sundance. It was the uncut version and widescreen. It was very violent, but still pretty cool. They play a lot of Miike movies on there. Yesterday I watched "The City of Lost Souls."

Don't rent it from Blockbuster, you'll get the edited version.

Yeah, that Sundance. They play them a lot, all widescreen, too. I've also seen Audition, Dead or Alive: Final and Happiness of the Katakuri's.

Nike should team up with Miike and do some limited edition kicks like Ichi's.
Anyone seen the anime? Worth seeing?

the anime is ok..nothing great..there is also an Ichi film about his time at school which is average at best also..
i like the film, some really sick moments in it though.
