I liked it a lot. Don't know if it is the best movie of the year, but it was great.

i was watching this real late. one of those where you zone in and out but the moment i heard 'the shaolin and the wu tang' i woke up and realized i was missing greatness. can't wait to finish this tonight.

My ears perked up during the Shaolin line too.

Also when he said "I will call the Wolf."

The first words that came out of my mouth was "Shit negro! That's all you had to say."

I haven't seen this movie yet but Bigelow wrote and directed Strange Days, which is basically like Bladerunner if Bladerunner was about the Tupac assassination. If there are rap references here I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she wrote them in herself.

Thought this was a really remarkable movie.

It is long, but I didn't find myself looking at my watch at all. I think Bigelow took a very fair and measured look at how they got bin Laden. It's obviously not pro-torture or overly pro-CIA at all. Chastain really does excellent work here, and she needed to body it to pull the movie off. It's just a solid procedural start to finish.
