X+Y = the best album so far this year IMO

Blah blah blah.

Of all the bands to hate on, why Coldplay? And that article was hilarious, dude listed about 20 likable things about the band, and then at the end somehow comes to the conclusion that they are a bad band. If you can name that many things that Coldplay does well, don't be surprised when their album sells and people like their songs.

It's a time-honored tradition - the public and the press have a circle-jerk over some medicore band that manages to rise a few steps above the heap of shit that's known as popular music while better bands and musicians work in obscurity and never get the press, sales, and accolades they deserve.

Naaaah - dig a bit deeper. They may be the best band on MTV but I swear i've seen bands playing in pub basements that i'd rather listen to than Coldplay.

How is Mars Volta's first album? I saw it used at Sam Goody for 6 bucks and thought about getting it.
