Also, I've recently become a big fan of the DVDASA podcast. The addition of Bobby Lee to many of the recent podcasts have been great. He's the king of awkward. Plus Asa is one of my fav pornstars, so that helps. The episodes with Slink and Endo have been especially hilarious. I'm listening to the latest one with all of them plus Erik Griffin from Workaholics right now.
The new Race Wars podcast with Kurt Metzger and Sherrod Small shows a lot of promise. They're both pretty funny, especially Kurt.
I've been enjoying the Bret Easton Ellis podcast. With, Kanye West and Marilyn Manson as the first couple of guests, he's off to a great start.

Number 1 health podcast. Don't sleep on Critter and Valentin.

I dont think most fans care for maron all that much. he does get results though. Anyways yeah the Ferrell one was cool, nice to hear him off duty for once. Cant recommend the Breuer one enough though, I was only familiar with the ott older version but he has some incredible stories
Cosign Eastside Dave, hes a force of nature but doesnt seem to be properly appreciated over there at all.

that crab feast was a terrible example of rig's humour. i find her hilarious & thought just about the exact same bout that episode as you
her own podcast (professor blastoff) is the best way to hear tig at her most tigish.. but that podcast isn't all comedy (more "serious" parts than most comedy podcasts)

ObeseJesus wrote:Yeah I found that moment about Ronnie B on the Bruer WTF to be pretty weird too. Is Bruer still on Raw Dog? I thought he quit became the pay was so awful? Maybe I'm remembering wrong though.
So what is your opinion on the R&F transition? I'm hopeful but skeptical at the same time. I love that Ron wants to do more stuff with comedians, and I do think it's time for some kind of change, I just hope things don't change too much. Some of my favorite moments from Ron and Fez are when Ron is serious, and critically breaking down arguments. I hope that isn't all out the window. Also, I really hope he'll have some power at Rawdog, which is what it sounded like from Friday's show. I'm also curious about the replacement show the O&A channel. It will inevitably involve Sam Roberts, I just wonder who he'll be with. With all of these transitions, my biggest hope is that a spot opens up somewhere for Eastside Dave. He's radio gold, but he's best as the side kick to someone serious, as opposed to having host duties like he has on his sports show.
no idear about bruers current status on rawdog, just did a quick wiki after the r&f announcement and saw his name was on the lineup. juss talking out the big a for no real reason there. i got faith in the switch, don't know if it was really necessary, but as long as they keep the many interviews w ppl outside comedy really won't have too much cause to complain. can't imagine they would cause you can tell ronnies rarely more enthused to still be doing this than when someone such as donald fagen or ronnie wood or whoevers in studio, but they were really stressing the comedy part of the move. not mad at the three hr aspect either, will finally have time to listen to something asides from r&f during the average week now. & yeah word to the davey mac talk

& will admit to being embarrassingly geeked about the possibilities when the first call after ronnie was asking about listeners idears was about getting the crab feast dudes on the show. that would be all the favourite worlds combining and wouldnt seem all that far fetched for them to drop by once in a while since they were mohrs dudes for a while

Def. recommend checking out her live set from this year called "Live" Basically Tig got on stage a day or two after getting diagnosed with cancer and just talked about her situation for a 1/2 hour. Louis C.K. convinced her to release the recorded audio because it was so good.

oh yeah know the scoop and hubbub and high praises. been thinking i'd like to clear out the audible and the podcasts i have saved up while r&f do the two week break/switch, then catching up on some standup i missed. got the last bamford & kumail nanjiani (think dudes a funny actor, never heard the stand up but it came recommended) queued up, and still shamefully haven't heard that last patrice so that's on there, may as well add live to the list.

kid mero is crazy funny. podcast was a dud to me tho. they need to prep material/topics or at least have some segments. banter is hard to get by on for an entire podcast.. even for professional comedian/improvers. i support a regular podcast tho (with an editor/better mics)

i was going to make a post all about the best show ending.. but there's so few FOT's on this forum that it seems pointless.
catch up on the archives! the best thing you could ever do is get into the best show: http://wfmu.org/playlists/BS
now that it's over.. jimmy pardo must kinda hate tom huh? obviously the "la podcast scene" thing has always been a bit.. but i've seen no evidence that pardo was ever in on him "goofing" on him (tho i guess it's possible that he was never even aware of it)
Andy Daly murdered his first season imo. Travel Bug w/ August Lint, "Werner Herzog" and "Hr Giger" prolly the funniest thing I've heard this year pod-wise. I

neither thing i'm going to mention is a podcast but lets bump this baby anyways
dan soder & big jay got their own sirius show here for six weeks/six eps, haven't listened yet for i need to convert it and put it on the phone, but pretty much no way it's not going to be fantastic, absolutely two of the funniest dudes around the soder show ep 1
kinda shitty big jays name isn't on it for what i've inferred he's co-hosting but whatever
best bars in america w jay larson on the esquire network is fucking tits, love that both dudes get noticeably shitfaced twice an ep. the time the other dude, sean patton, was on the crabfeast i found him detestable but he's pretty good on the show. going to be in nyc here in a few weeks and got a few places bookmarked to hit up that i've never been before, that bar food episode was
