This. I'd figure the fact that the reboot script is being rewritten by the dude who wrote Spider-Man 3 would be of more uproar. A black spider-man is less upsetting than giving the script makeover to the dude who wrote the piece of shit 3rd movie that broke the original franchise's back. I just hope in this gritty, teen angsty Spider-Man he gets another emo hair cut wears a stupid fucking jazz hat and cuts himself while writing shitty poetry and live journal updates.

wouldn't watch a spiderman reboot with any actor, but if they were to have a nonwhite spidey, Glover is WAY to hammy to be good in that role. Dude is funny as hell, but the fit is way off.

What studio genius thinks its a good idea to not only reboot the spiderman franchise a week after the last sequel but to make the series darker and grittier? Its fucking spiderman he is supposed to be fun. He is the superhero that 2 year olds know. The Dark Knight was successful because people know that Batman is supposed to be dark and gritty.
