Pick Your Favorite Alfred Hitchcock Film

Been putting off this poll for a while until I came up with choices that required a bit more thought before clicking the vote button. Only ten movies for this selection. Some very obvious movies were intentionally omitted, but that doesn't mean they aren't a high calibre lot however.

Interesting selection of Hitch's movies and really difficult to choose one as my favorite. Love pretty much all of these, although admittedly I still haven't seen Marnie or Frenzy.
Voting Notorious with Rebecca a very close second.
Fuck yes I voted for the love stories. Fags.

From that list I would go with Frenzy. It's interesting to think that if Hitchcock was born in a more liberal day and age, perhaps more of his movies would have been more visually harrowing.

Strangers On A Train from the list.

Probably Rear Window overall though.

Gotta admit I'd love to see a poll with Psycho, The Birds, Vertigo, Rear Window and North By Northwest. Maybe it's just me but I have no idea what people would pick from these, which I assume is considered his 5 best movies.

Rope would fit on this list. Pretty underrated. I like the gayness.

dial m for murder is actually not that good IMO, very slow, stiff feeling and very very drawn out and 99% of it takes place in that apartment if i remember correctly

that's because it's based on a stage play

vehemently disagree about it not being good, i love it.
