i've debated on this for a while, in the end i think they wont do it. it's too obvious and too much of a perfect match, of all teh women in the show she seems like the only one who could handle him and that's exactly why they would avoid it.

Completely agree but if they did do it i'm sure it would be the scene to end all scenes. Don is actually much more likely to stick it in Peggy at some point.drizzle wrote:i've debated on this for a while, in the end i think they wont do it. it's too obvious and too much of a perfect match, of all teh women in the show she seems like the only one who could handle him and that's exactly why they would avoid it.

'my name is peggy olson and i want to smoke some don draper-juana'
would be such a cringe worthy moment but that's exactly why i agree with what you said regarding the likelihood of it

Just watched the whole series on Netflix Instant. From season 3 finale through the end of season 4, it was consistently very good. The feel of the 1960s seems on point, and the cinematography is wonderful, but it's mostly a show of white people problems & cool stories bro. Am I the only one who feels like he's missing something? This is rated so very highly and I just don't understand it. I will finish watching the series, but I wouldn't care if I caught it as it aired or 3 years from now when it's all done.Philaflava wrote:last season was phenomenal IMO.

Most of this board will likely choose Breaking Bad over it, they are not incorrect, but Mad Men is certainly the number two spot.capable_keL wrote:can't believe it's back tomorrow. seen every episode and even ran them back over the winter. is there anyone who doesn't think this is the best current drama?
Decent first episode, but I felt it lacked a little something. It was a bringing everyone up to speed episode so it's easy to forgive any minor issues I have with it. It's just good to get the band back together. Oh how I missed you, Joan.
Loved the party scene and the Mrs. Draper dance sequence. The Campbell/Sterling back and forth is going to be fantastic this season.
Not liking the newly married Don Draper thusfar, and that's obviously going to be a major plot this season.
Looking forward to the next episode.
