Finally got to watch the first episode...frickin amazing. It's hard to film psychedelic themed stuff, especially on a cable tv show, but these guys are 2 for 2. Alice had me dying throughout the episode, especially at the hotel desk. Their set designs are always awesome and add so much to the show. How is Adam not on the big screen yet, one of the most consistently funny fuckers around.

I didn't like last nights episode at all. Not that I thought it was bad. I just didn't laugh. It wasn't funny imo.

That was the first episode I just didn't like.

Shutter Island line was good. Agreed on that.

Leaning really hard on drug humor (which the first two episodes have) is just the show following it's least interesting and most overdone instincts, IMO.

^^^Letting your hurt feelings from Biko spill out across the site still?

(and just to everyone else, nah, don't worry, I won't respond again and play straight man to emp trying to make the Workaholics thread about himself).

^ :owens: / CSB

Demamp stays slayin' shit. I finally broke into my DVR and watched the first two episodes.

"I should be slaying babes with my meat sword..."

And, really, if you're griping about the drug-related content in the show one of two things is true: you had a bitch ass adolescence/early-adulthood involving no friends or drugs or mischief that is a part of adolescence/early-adulthood for many people or you've never done more than smoke a Virginia Slim, don't understand the humor, and in order to deflect from your life naivety you detract from the show.

That said: this probably has a shelf life of five seasons. Four and five being the runaway worsts and four recognized as the season it went downhill.

Caught up on the last two episodes.

"And I can be the Jamie Kennedy-Scott Caan combo!"
"Well...definitely Jamie Kennedy. I'm feeling that experience."
