Richard Armitage is playing Francis Dollarhyde, the 2nd half of the season is supposed to be basically a retelling of Manhunter/Red Dragon.

I'm wondering too. I thought maybe she'd stick around for a while since she got added to the opening credits but it seems like they're setting up to off her before the second half of the season.

A little too much Italian arthouse in the 1st episode but I liked they took the Hannibal/curator storyline from the books and made it the first set piece of the this new season. Thought Dimmond looked a lot like a Euro Will Graham(i know Dancy is a Brit). Intrigued with the Scully flashback with her arm down the throat of Spock.

Those flashback of feeding dude himself were something else

Wasn't too big a fan of ep 2 but ep 3 brought me right back in, I could watch an entire show of Hannibal and Bedelia traversing the globe together.

Episode 3 was really strong. The pace is good so far too.

Haven't been this upset with a show's cancellation since Awake.

Gaaaaay. Next episode looked awesome.

They're gonna air the rest. Hopefully it gets picked up. It probably won't but it'd be nice

A&E should pick it up, would be a good block with Bates Motel. FX would be another suitable home since they don't seem to mind the low ratings of The Americans due to it's critical accolades.

I'm finally all the way caught up on this after re-upping my Amazon Prime subscription a couple weeks ago...and now it's cancelled. Great, great show though. From what I read it will almost definitely be picked up somewhere. I would imagine Amazon or Netflix would be likely destinations, just hoping it's not Hulu, I can't justify a Hulu subscription.

I watched season 1 a year ago and the rest in the last couple weeks. I have to admit I liked the first season and a half (up to around when Will was released from prison) better than the second half of season 2 and season 3 so far, but not really complaining, it's still one of the best shows on TV. I don't mind it being set in Europe to start this season, but I'm missing the Will/Hannibal one on ones.

Well...Amazon and Netflix passed and the cast has been freed from their contracts. Not looking good for season 4. Last nights episode was pretty great though, best visuals of the season IMO.

I thought the kaleidoscope lesbo scene was a little overwrought but it gave a Ru a chub so no harm no foul.

Hannibal went full Krendler on Will! Even though the Yellow King pretty much sucked as the final villain in True Detective I'm loving him as Mason's crazy henchman.

It's still on through this season. While everyone's passing on picking up season 4, there are rumblings that they'd like to make a movie with Mads and Hugh.

I just hope they have a good conclusion for this season so that it gets a proper ending regardless.

I mean the final nail as in other networks are prob out in terms of picking up the 4th season.

I had assumed that option was out since Fuller's doing American Gods now. I saw the him say the end of season 3 was a nice wrap up to the 'tv show' which sorta implies a movie or the like, which would be great.

Last few episodes have been pretty great, they've handled the Red Dragon storyline very well.

Yeah I actually didn't mind the visual porn of early season Italy/France but I could see how most could see it as art house masturbation. While Fuller still tends to go for a more visual narrative I think some backstory on Dollarhyde could have helped people see his 'mother issues' a lot better, if I didn't watch the movies I would have no idea he had those issues and would think he's just another crazy loon.

Perfect ending. Great resolution to will/Hannibal

Great finale, even with Fuller not knowing this would be his final season. Up there with Deadwood and Morel Orel for best 3 season shows ever. Most def in my top 10 and maybe sneaking into top 5 territory(will marathon in the next year and decide).
