"The film traces the growth and friendship of 2 very different high school ping
pong players. "Peco" Hoshino is a brash, arrogant player, determined to turn
"pro". He taught his quiet, nerdy childhood friend, "Smile" Tsukimoto. "Smile"
frustrates his coach and rivals who recognize his talent for the game since it
is just a game to him. To teach him, his high school coach learns that coaching
is more than just training the students to be good ping pong players.
Ironically, as "Smile" begins to develop his game, "Peco" undergoes a severe
crisis after his defeat by rival players. "Peco" is unable to play well until
he rediscovers the original reasons why he plays ping pong."

this is a great movie.
One of the best of 2002.
Great cinematography, great (kinda exaggerated) acting, great writing.
It was nominated for 11 Japanese Academy Awards and lost all of them to The Twilight Samurai.
It shouldve at least won for cinematography.
hmm....maybe I should upload The Twilight Samurai sometime.
Anyway, download this, cause it's fucking awesome.

700MB RAR file, including the movie and subtitle files. The subtitle file is in a rar file, but dont extract it....just make sure all these files are in the same folder and everything should work ok.

Oh fuck, this looks awesome. I love ping-pong and movies, so how could I go wrong with this one. Major props to Andvil. And I have no idea what The Twilight Samurai is but the title sounds fresh, so you should just upload that too

there is another RAR file in the RAR file containing a SUB file........try extracting that to the same directory and then try it again. You'll know VobSub kicks on when a green arrow shows up in your system tray

Damnit! I always get to these just when the links go bad.

I clicked on it and I was about to download it. I then realized that since I have a shitty connection that intermittently disconnects, I should probably download some sort of download manager program because I'll end up having to restart the entire download again.

By the time I get Download Accelerator off of Cnet, the link has "Gone Stale." Mother fuck. This looks really cool. I'm a huge table tennis fan... I would love to see this. I have crazy ass videos of Jan ove waldner and other top pros at the WTTC from this year. ahh

I completely made up the question about the panda and cotton candy. The whole thing backfired on me when there apparently was some mention of pandas in this movie about ping pong.
