I missed adding him in the phila league because my fucking computer decided to stall on startup .. was late by a minute.
I hear he'll be making around $18.5 million plus it will cost the Yankees around $7.4 million in luxury tax.

While I agree with your Cardinals sentiment ultimately you gotta blame the acne scarred one's first team the A's.Gregg Popabitch wrote:Fuck the cardinals and their harboring of a fat steroid abusing red headed faggot. it's their fault that baseball is in the steroid era. thanks for ruining baseball.

1M per start?ESPN's Dan Patrick is reporting that Roger Clemens will receive a prorated salary of $28 million after signing with the Yankees on Sunday.
That means he'd earn $4.67 million per month or $18.67 million if he returns at the end of May as planned. So much for the Yankees' payroll reduction. This will put them back over $200 million, even after factoring in what the Rangers are paying Alex Rodriguez. In addition to the record salary, Clemens is expected to have the same travel privileges he did in Houston. So if he isn't pitching, there's a good chance he won't be with the team (you can't tell us there's no I in team). May. 6 - 5:31 pm et

I'm just suprised Yankee fans even want him back. You're only in 2nd place and the pitching will get better. Clemens hated New York fans and the Yankees when he played in Boston. After Toronto he wanted to go to the Rangers or Astros, but settled for a ring and millions.
He called Yank fans low class losers among 50 million other things about the Yankees, yet he sells out for $ and the fans seem to forget the nasty history.

his era has been under 3 the past 3 years, and was 2.30 last year. dude shouldnt be anywhere near .500. that is ridiculous that he can basically do whatever the fuck he wants and still make more money than anybody else considering he is old and how he will soon flop if he keeps half ass committing like this.

His ERA will surely grow in the AL, fact. His wins will grow too, even bigger fact. Houston shitted on him all last year with no run support, but he shouldn't have that problem at all in NY.Stunna7516 wrote:his era has been under 3 the past 3 years, and was 2.30 last year.
I'm guessing 9 wins with an ERA around 4.
