Breaking News: Kerr To Be Named Phoenix GM
31st May, 2007 - 8:19 pm
East Valley Tribune -
Steve Kerr will be announced as the new president of basketball operations and general manager of the Suns within the week, an NBA source with knowledge of the situation said. Current general manager Mike Dג€™Antoni will still have a front office title in addition to his coaching duties

The source said current vice president of basketball operations David Griffin will decide tonight whether to stay with the Suns or take a similar position with the Grizzlies. The Suns want Griffin to stay and would probably give him a raise and another title. Griffin would also keep a lot of the duties for which he is currently responsible.

if the suns got kobe i would cry tears of joy for aobut 4 months straight. keep in mind this is from a basketball standpoint. kobe bryant is just embarassing anymore, but kobe, nash and stoudemire on the court together? forget about it, they would be completely unstoppable.

not gonna happen though, he won't end up on a western conference roster.

Yeah, Kerr is a great analyst which wouldn't seem like a big deal, yet there are so few people who can do the job well.
