Might have gone with LL over Shook Ones, but this is the best cut from the Infamous imo...

Mobb Deep, though it wasn't easy and I kind of regret it.

Recently, a nineteen year-old kid asked me, "Was 'Momma Said Knock You Out' a hot song when it dropped?"
Uh, yeah it was. It took over for a minute. But after the hype of a revitalized LL with deodorant flakes in his armpits died down, you had to realize that the song is kind of silly. Maybe just coming from LL, but it's just corny. "Survival of the Fittest" is probably Mobb Deep's best cut, and it really defines the genre of 90's rap (if such a genre even exists). The boys from Queensbridge get my vote.
And admiral, don't think I didn't notice that you made me choose between two Queens stalwarts
again.

Tough. But there's nothing in "Mama Said Knock You Out" as memorable as:
There's a war goin' on outside no man is safe from

One of my favorite Mobb cuts, but let's not be ridiculous.

Prodigy's verse is a top 20 verse of all time. Prodigy and Havoc are doing what LL's trying to do - i.e. go hard AYO! - without even breaking a sweat.
