First off if this is the wrong forum sorry, thought this would be the place for the best advice.
I have always been trying to get into music and it ends up wasting me a lot of money (bought a bass, elect guitar, accoustic) but never learned how to play.
I really want to buy a cheap keyboard to fuck around with and try to learn how to play, anyone have any suggestions on a decent, reasonable priced keyboard?
Thanks in advance

First off.
Do you have some kind of software that will work with a midi keyboard?
If so, you could find a fairly cheap one.
I would guess around $80 or so.
If not,
you'll have to get a keyboard with it's own sounds.
It might be a good idea to find one of those that works with midi as well
in case you ever want to mess with that in the future.
I'm really no expert and I'm not sure what your
definition of cheap is,
but if it's truly on some low end ish.
you could prolly scoop one at Target or someplace similar.

before you go to target---I would check it local music stores for used keyboards---you can get really nice 7-8 year old synths for around 200-300---and they are immensely better than the old target option

After you buy the keyboard...take a few lessons or read up on how to place your fingers on the keyboard and the technique behind the movement. I can't read music or any of that shit...but those basic lessons from my 4th grade music teacher on finger placement came in handy 20 years later.

Can't wait until shit in my schedule slows down so I can start taking lessons.
