Reminisce about the golden era of hip-hop.

Who would you like to see make a single in 09

Post by bmore21225 »

I was thinking of people who I like who I want to hear more stuff from and I came up with.
1.Chill Rob G
2.Rob O
3.Frankenstein
4.Saukrates
5.INI

I enjoy listening to these rappers and would like to hear more stuff from them. I know theres others but who would you like to see make something in 09. They dont have to make a full album just a single.

I was gonna say Kane too. His 12"s with Alchemist & Primo were good.
Maybe Royal Flush or Black Rob with some decent beats.

I think the word is Rakim will be droping next year maybe more people can speak on this. Gangstarr that one would be great but thats something that we might never see again just like a Pete Rock and CL Smooth back in the studio toghether. Guru should have never left Gangstarr I know he is wishing he stayed same with CL Smooth staying with Pete Rock.

Rakim was supposed to drop 07-07-07. Also 08-08-08 this year. Haven't seen anything yet, he did release some sort of compilation/unreleased track album though, with like 3 new tracks.

Hopefully it drops '09, but don't get your hopes up.

Definitely agree with Frankenstein, that would be (very unlikely, but) awesome! Haha, Raekwon...yeah that would be nice, though my anticipation decreases with each missed release date (along with Detox). MF Grimm, he's due for some releases, he released over 70 songs over the previous 2 years, then not a peep in '08. But I know his recent material hasn't exactly been T.R.O.Y. type production.
