see that's another thing, many white rappers feel either subconsciously or overtly that they have to be somewhat twisted and mainey to get over (ei: icp, cage, eminem etc)PopeyeJones wrote: whole post reeks of ICP stench

Am I crazy for throwing in 3rd Bass into this mix?
Because Pete Nice actually had his own awkward/semi-abstract style that's actually not that bad and we all know MC Serch was the Rosa Parks of white guys dancing in hip hop.
But seriously if you look at white rappers as just a reflection/copy of what's going on in hip hop, 3rd Bass is a good example of the decline in some of the messages coming through. Back then you had to cringe sometimes at Serch with his 'trying super hard to be down' shtick but now that we've been through Paul Wall, Bubba Sparxx, et al, old MC Serch doesn't sound so bad. In fact he sounds right ON POINT to me. The reason is white rappers back then were following Chuck D & Krs-One, now a lot of white guys are either thuggin it out or going the nerdy super scientific route. And that's fine but think about it - back then white guys really had to bring some positive/political/pro-black type shit if they wanted to sell records. That's that really subversive aspect of mainstream rap that's kinda been lost.

ok then answer me this; aside from a 6 to 7 figure contract and a spot on a team, what makes a professional athlete? in your opinion. Not 'general' opinion, just YOURS. since you're commenting.PopeyeJones wrote:
