Yeah, that part is a let down. But at least he's only in it for 5-10 minutes.

What are your thoughts on Eastern Promises vs. AHOV?

well making an actual list could be a good start to correct matters
very valid point. i have to think on it so i don't regret my choices. favorites would be much easier

hov all day. although i've come around on eastern promises a bit, i still think it rushes the ending. hov is far more satisfying

Funny, I thought both of those movies had rushed movies.

^^ the philadelphia part in hov does seem a little underdone, but the last scene where viggo's character returns to teh dinner table is just too good for words. the look that he shares with the wife nails the whole thing

i'm honestly having a very hard time with the best thing

the best made feature i've seen this decade would probably be jesse james. acting, story, dialogue, direction, cinematography, score, all impeccable. but i'd rank it that high only in terms of technical proficiency

Tarantino has too much money and power.

He needs to try making a smaller film rather than try to make an epic every goddamn time.

I wouldn't put Once in my top 20 because it's uneven and kind of fades out after the first half of the film, but the scene where they sing "Falling Slowly" in the music store is one of the most touching scenes of the decade fo sho.

This is a video of clips from the movie set to the song. Not nearly as great as seeing the song performed in the context of the film, but the song is good in its own right:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CoSL_qayMCc&hl ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CoSL_qayMCc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Symantiks out.

fuck that kill bill is dope. actually, volume 1 is dope imo. volume 2 is a very good movie.

forgot about assasination of jesse james. that shit great. casey affleck and pitt are both dope in this shit.

I don't watch borat all the time but i've seen it 3-4 times. I've loved it each time. The only thing i don't like in borat was the gay shit in the hotel scene.

Glad someone else has Eternal Sunshine on their list. I don't know how you can front on that film, especially if we're talking Best films and not just your favorites. It's one of the most original and imaginative movies of the decade, easily.

I guess I am such a sarcastic fuckface, it's sometimes hard to tell.

No bullshit, I enjoy all those movies and think they were great. Anyone who doesn't can watch Eternal Sunshine while they suck their boyfriend's cock.
