Based on only his Outkast work and guest spots for the past 2 decades he is easily in my top 20. When he retires he'll probably be in or around the top 10 mark.

I was once told by the world's most influential blogger to ever blog that every post I log (no homo) sets the blogosphere back a decade.
So you might very well be on to something.

Probably not far off the mark regarding how the "world's most influential blogger" is in real life.

Through 1998 this guy was a very good rapper. Since then his whole existence is an atrocity. Top 1000, maybe.

when he raps, he's pretty much one of my favorites. the problem is the lack of rapping he does. but i'm with emp. he's killed pretty much every guest spot or song he's had over the the past decade (minus a few truly wack r&b missteps). in fact, i like him more (again, when he actually raps) now than i did back then.

Completely disagree w/Stankonia being a classic.
However the previous 3 albums had already almost secured him as one of the greats. His verses since have made it a lock.

I am beyond baffled by this thread.
You mean to tell me that there are people who don't think Andre is top 3 of all time?
Since 1998 his work/existence is an atrocity?
Andre's verses on "Art of Storytelling 4" and "Royal Flush" alone eclipse EVERYTHING that ANYONE from the East or West coast has done since 1998.
Andre ftw.

Top 3? I think he needs to drop a fucking album already because every year that goes by people tend to forget or push him to the back of the list.

Fixed.
Regardless of how great I think he is I still really have no interest in a 3000 solo record.
